What are the requirements for studying at a school in Thailand?
Generally, schools in Thailand will require the following:

Do I need a visa? How do I get it?
Studying in Thailand will require a visa. Foreign students who are planning to study in Thailand are required to have a Non-Immigrant Visa ED (commonly referred to as education visa).

- You must have a passport (valid for at least 18 months at the planned date of arrival).
- You must be willing to fulfill all study & attendance requirements.
- You must apply for the ED visa outside the Kingdom of Thailand.
- You must meet all the Royal Thai Government requirements.
- To apply for this visa, a student will need a Letter of Acceptance from the language center and several letters from the Royal Thai Government. This process will take at least 1-2 months to complete.
