Do I need a visa to study in India? How do I get it?
If you’re a Philippine passport-holder, you may need to obtain a student visa. In India, a student visa is a multiple entry visa. Multiple entry visas are given to students who pursue regular studies at recognized institutions in India. If you do not have a letter of acceptance from the university or educational institution you applied for due to reasons such as pending admission tests or other requirements, a provisional visa may be issued on the basis of the provisional admission certificate/letter of offer issued by the educational institution in India.
