Requirements
Freshmen
- Performance in the Malayan Colleges Laguna Entrance Examination (MCLEE)
- Choice of program and quota set for a specific program
- Certificate of Good Moral Character
- A candidate must be a Grade 12 student, who has never entered college/university or who passed the Bureau of Alternative Learning System (BALS) or the Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT).
- Duly Accomplished application form.
- Original HS report card duly signed by the Principal. With applicant’s eligibility for admission to college and learners reference number.
- Photocopy of the NSO/PSA birth certificate.
Transferees
Any applicant intending to student in MCL as a transferee may be admitted on the following basis:
- Performance in the Malayan Colleges Laguna Qualifying Examination (MCLQE)
- Performance in the interview process
- Choice of program and quota set for a specific program
- Certificate of Good Moral Character
- Duly accomplished admission form
- Original and photocopy of Transcript of Records (TOR) or of Certified True Copy of Grades
- Two (2) pieces 1.5x1.5 recent identical pictures with plain background
- Certified true copy of course description (for crediting purposes)
- Application fee of PHP 400.00
Transferees are those students who are from other colleges/universities, vocational or special training schools and students who wish to pursue to another degree program. MCL may credit the courses previously taken provided, that the program is CHED accredited
International Students
- Original and photocopy of the passport validity within 6 months.
- Alien Certificate of Registration
- Student Visa and study permit.
Dual Citizens
- Submit a certificate of recognition of Filipino Citizenship and authenticated birth certificate.
- Two pieces of Id pictures 1.5x1.5 with white background
- Medical Certificate form from CHSW for Marine Enrollees.
Senior High School
- Duly Filled application Form for Senior High School
- Original and photocopy of School ID
- Two pieces 1.5” x 1.5” identical pictures with plain background
Additional requirements for Grade 12 Transferees
- Original and photocopy of Grade 11 Report Card
- Curriculum
- Certificate of Good Moral Character
Procedures
Freshmen
- Submit all admission requirements to the Admissions Office (ADO). Incomplete requirements may delay the application.
- Pay the application fee (PHP 400.00)
- Present the receipt of payment to ADO and get your admissions kit
- Present your test permit to the proctor and take the MCLEE on the scheduled date (No permit, no exam policy applies)
- Marine applicants are required to take a medical examination administered by MCL
- Pay the Enrollment Confirmation Fee (PHP3,000)
- Prepare requirements for enrollment
Exam results will be mailed to the applicants and can be viewed online at
www.mcl.edu.ph.
Transferees
- Submit the admission requirements to the Admissions Office (ADO)
- Pay the application fee (PHP 400.00)
- Present receipt of payment to ADO and get your test permit
- Present your test permit to the proctor and take the MCLEE on the scheduled date (No permit, no exam policy applies)
- Marine applicants are required to take a medical examination administered by MCL accredited clinic.
- Prepare the requirements for enrollment and crediting of courses previously taken
Exam results will be mailed to the applicants and can be obtained as directed.
Senior High School
- Submit the requirements to Admissions Office (ADO).
- Pay the application fee (PHP 300.00) to Treasury Office (TO).
- Present official receipt of payment to ADO and secure test permit and admissions kit.
- Present the test permit to the proctor and take the MCL Senior High School Examination on the scheduled date. Examinees are advised to arrive 30 minutes earlier of the scheduled time for orientation.
- Exam results can be viewed online at www.mcl.edu.ph after three (3) working days. If you cannot view the result, please contact the ADO at (049)832-4063 to 66.
- After receiving the results of the MCL Senior High School Exam, kindly secure the requirements for enrollment.
Note: The MCL Senior High School Exam results will be used to determine the applicant’s eligibility for any scholarship.
