BS Life Sciences is an undergraduate honors program that provides an exciting, dynamic, and highly interdisciplinary application-based approach to the life sciences. Students are trained rigorously in fundamental biology courses and take essential courses in external disciplines specific to either of the two areas of Specialization they pursue. Those who pursue a Specialization in Biological Innovations and Management take courses in management, leadership, and entrepreneurship to train them in managing operations and resources related to the biological sciences. Those who pursue a Specialization in Biology Communication take courses in communication and the creative arts, giving them the necessary tools for effective engagement of the public in biological discussions across multimedia platforms.
