AMA College Makati is a branch of the AMA Colleges under the AMA Education System, the country’s first and largest ICT university in the Philippines. The school provides a wide array of courses which include, Accountancy, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Mass Communication, Nursing, and Psychology.

The institution is one of the biggest campuses of AMA Colleges. With facilities and activities intended to provide students convenient means to acquire tech skills needed in the actual workplace, the institution does produce highly competent graduates. It also houses the facilities and classes for AMA School of Medicine, which is also a member of the AMA Education System.

In addition to undergraduate and graduate programs, AMA Makati also offers Senior High School (SHS) Academic strands such as Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), Accounting, Business, and Management (ABM), Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS), and the General Academic Strand (GAS). Its Technical-Vocational-Livelihood track, on the other hand, provides ICT and Home Economics strands. The school and its programs are duly recognized by the Department of Education (DepEd) and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).

ADMISSION PROCEDURES

Apply for the entrance exam for freshmen and qualifying exam for transferees.
Proceed to the College Dean’s Office for the interview.
After the interview, pay the necessary fees at the Cashier.
Present the proof of payment to the Dean of the College for the scheduling of the entrance examination/qualifying examination.
After passing the entrance examination, proceed to the Registrar’s Office for the enlistment of the subjects to be taken during the semester.
After paying the fees and enlistment of subjects, you will be officially enrolled.
Get a copy of your registration form which shows all the subjects that you will need to take during the semester/trimester.

Requirement

AMA Graduate School Admission Criteria

1. For students holding qualified M.S. Degree, a graduate GPA of 1.50 or better from accredited institutions with specific relevance to business, computing and information technology will be qualified.
2. At least 2 years of relevant work experience is preferred as is breadth in educational experience.
3. A statement of purpose judged to be a good fit for the university’s Ph.D. Program.
4. Demonstration of a high level of competence in written communication as evidenced by a writing sample.

Admission Requirements

All applicants are required to submit the following items to create an application package suitable for effective review of the applicant’s potential for success in SGS Ph.D. programs.

Application Forms
A detailed reflective statement of purpose highlighting career goals, capabilities to be developed, and self-assessment highlighting both strengths and weaknesses
A detailed resume or curriculum vitae
Transcript of Records
At least three letters of recommendation from faculty with an earned doctoral degree relevant to the program applied for or others qualified to judge the potential for success in research.
