Ready for the Next Round: College Applications
We’re barely into the second quarter of 2020 and so far, it’s been hard trying to roll with the punches life throws our way. It feels almost like we’re in a video game right.
Now, if you’ve had the privilege of staying at home during this quarantine, you’ve probably taken on your fair share of side quests at this point—naglinis ng kwarto, sinubukang gumawa ng Dalgona coffee, maybe even got back into an old hobby.
College probably isn’t top of mind right now, and that’s totally valid. It’s hard to be productive when you’re adjusting to a new way of life—with physical distancing and the general quarantine. You’ve had to unlearn some of the ways that you got things done, and adapt to life at home. But there’s no such thing as being too prepared.
Not-so-secret feature 1: Search and destroy apply
First of all, determine what you want to study and where. Are you willing to relocate for your college degree? It’s no secret that there are hundreds of different courses in college, so paano ka makakapili kung hindi mo alam kung ano options mo? In light of the coronavirus pandemic, marami nang schools ang nag-eexplore ng distance learning options.
You can find your options right here on our website. Arts? Communication? HRM Courses? Kahit ano pa ‘yan! Whether it’s a school or course here or abroad, we’ve got you covered.
Not-so-secret feature 2: Career lockpicking tool
There are some industries which have clear-cut paths like medicine, law, and IT because you need the technical skills to perform the most basic functions. But don’t worry, we’re not going to leave you guessing. Find your path here!
Whether you’re in HUMSS (Humanities and Social Sciences), ABM (Accountancy, Business and Management), STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), TVL (Technical-Vocational Livelihood), Sports, or Arts and Design, we can help you map out a clear path towards your future career.
Not-so-secret feature 3: Scholarship back up
Kaya may scholarships na needs-based, context-based, at ability-based. You can learn more about it here.
