Edukasyon Launches STEM Forward Digital Platform for SHS Internships
On May 22, 2019, the Philippine Women’s Economic Network (PhilWEN), through the Philippine Business Coalition for Women Empowerment (PBCWE), and Edukasyon launched a digital platform for STEM Internships, called STEM Forward.
This initiative helps Senior High School (SHS) students by exposing them to the STEM environment to improve their chances of pursuing careers in STEM, helping them build critical skills needed in the workplace of the future. It allows them to be trained in actual workplaces by STEM executives, and gives them the opportunity to easily explore and apply online for an immersion program and company they feel will help them in their chosen career.

Likewise, this initiative helps tech companies and startups by giving them an avenue to test the competencies and see the employability of Senior High School graduates, and allowing them to engage educational institutions in the development of future-ready individuals who will soon be part of the workforce.
